Indianapolis (Dec. 2, 2008) –OneAmerica Financial Partners, Inc., is pleased to announce that Chief Financial Officer Scott Davison has been named a top honoree in the Indianapolis Business Journal’s (IBJ) CFO of the Year awards. Davison was honored in the private companies category with revenue of $250 million and above.
The IBJ launched the awards program this year to recognize the enormously important work Indiana CFOs accomplish with little fanfare. Recognition is given to financial professionals from private and public companies and not-for-profit organizations. Davison, who was named top honoree, was among three finalists in the private company division.

Davison, who has been CFO since July 2004, oversees corporate finance, actuarial, investments, mergers and acquisitions, planning, ratings agency relations and the enterprise’s Medical Stop-loss business and Corporate Support Services division. Additionally, during Davison’s tenure as CFO, OneAmerica’s profit has increased 57 percent, from $56.3 million in 2004 to $88.1 million in 2007. Also under Davison’s leadership, the enterprise has maintained strong profitability and avoided risky financial investments plaguing many companies today.
