OneAmerica makes executive appointments

Indianapolis (Dec. 14, 2011) – The companies of OneAmerica Financial Partners, Inc. announced today the promotions of two executives to the role of president for their respective lines of business. The following appointments are effective immediately.
Mark Wilkerson, CFP®, has been promoted to president of individual business after serving as senior vice president of the unit since 2007. He retains his position as president of The State Life Insurance Company, a OneAmerica company.
“Mark has led the individual area through a period of explosive growth in both our distribution force and sales,” said Dayton Molendorp, chairman, president and CEO. “Our individual business has consistently outperformed the industry over the last few years. The fact that Mark and his team have accomplished this during one of the most challenging economic environments of our lifetime is a testament to his exceptional leadership.”
Bill Yoerger has been named president of retirement business as well as president of OneAmerica actuarial and consulting firm McCready and Keene. Yoerger has been with American United Life Insurance Company® (AUL), a OneAmerica company, since 1993 and became senior vice president of retirement services in 2005.
“Under Bill’s leadership, our retirement unit is now a formidable player in the retirement services marketplace,” said Molendorp. “We now rank among the top 401(k) and 403(b) providers in the country. Bill and his talented team have shown a dedication to making us an elite player in this industry.”
In addition to these presidential appointments, Andrew Wilkinson, FSA, MAAA, has been named vice president and managing principal of McCready and Keene, reporting to Yoerger. Wilkinson started with State Life in 1983, most recently serving as vice president of operations and actuary for the retirement services division.
