AUL Retirement Services appoints Chris Blair to lead sales in Northern California sales office

Indianapolis (May 25, 2011) – American United Life Insurance Company® (AUL), a OneAmerica company, has selected Chris Blair to be regional sales director for retirement services for Northern California and the Pacific Northwest. Located in AUL’s San Francisco office, Blair will lead sales, marketing and service functions for a region that includes Northern California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Alaska.
“Chris is a welcome addition to our growing team of top sales leaders,” said Bill Yoerger, senior vice president of AUL Retirement Services. “His experience working throughout Northern California with the area’s top RIAs, consultants and brokers will be valuable as we continue to expand our business to serve more retirement plan participants in these five states.”
Most recently, Blair led Principal Retirement & Investment Services’ retirement sales practice and was responsible for business development in Northern California working out of the San Francisco office. He also spent time as Principal’s national director of consultant relations and previously led retirement plan sales for Union Bank of California and held sales management positions with Charles Schwab and New York Life, all in San Francisco.

Blair resides in Moraga, Calif. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Business Administration from Clark University.
